Temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints currently has more than 150 of these beautiful edifices scattered throughout the world. These temples are not for Sunday worship, in fact, they are not even open on Sundays. They are deemed "The House of the Lord" by Church members who attend temples to perform sacred ordinances such as baptisms for the dead and eternal marriages.
This gallery is a bit of a departure from our "art in nature" theme but we have included it here at the urging of friends who have purchased more than 400 of our temple photographs since we started offering them in 2014. We think that including these images as the "Art of God" is appropriate.
